Rural Maine community in shock after four murders

The shootings of seven people in Maine brought home the national spate of mass gunfire to a rural community where violent crime is rare. In tiny community of Bowdoin, the home that was the site of the killings became a site for friends, family members and neighbors to gather and grieve.

A man has been charged with four counts of murder stemming from the deaths and is due back in court next month.Four people were killed in the shootings in Bowdoin, and three others were injured in subsequent gun violence in Yarmouth.One of the Yarmouth shooting victims was in critical condition.
