



A ceremony to donate equipment and cash to the Nay Pyi Taw 1,000-bed Hospital took place on Thursday.
During the ceremony at the Hospital, the donor Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko stressed the importance of health and that according to the needs of patients receiving medical treatment, there may be sufficient as well as urgent needs.
And, he donated a phlegm suction machine, oxygen concentrator, wheel chair and 500,000 Kyats for patients with respiratory emergencies. Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win accepted the donation and presented a certificate of honour to the donor.
He also expressed words of thanks for donation and said that it has been a lot easier when it comes to providing health care to the public due to the donation by the public especially when there are epidemics.
