Land Management: Magway Region’s Committee holds meeting 2/2023

The Magway Region Land Management Committee held the meeting 2/2023 at the regional government office.

In this meeting, chairman of the committee Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stressed one of the State Administration Council’s objective which is 'To further develop agriculture and livestock-based manufacturing with modern methods, and build comprehensive development of other economic sectors as well’.

He also called on attendees to ensure that agricultural lands cannot be used in other ways. And, the meeting discussed 39 cases of applying for permission to use agricultural land in another way, 1 case of applying for the issuance of a second original (or) true copy for damage/loss of farmland use certificate (Form-7) and 2 compensation cases for land and crops.
