Meeting in New Year: Union Minister for Industry gives guidance

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than met with officials and staff of the ministry at the meeting hall of the office No. 30 on Tuesday. In his address at the meeting, the Union Minister said that the public servants need to abide by the set rules and regulations, to make efforts for tasks completion as a new person in the New Year and to take weak and strong points in the previous year as lessons in order to successfully carry out the tasks in the New Year.

He also urged the attendees to make efforts for development of electric vehicles and related industries and MSMEs businesses, to produce trainees to develop the human resources required for the government and private industries. As arrears are reducing the revenue for the state, the arrears should be managed and collected in a systematic manner.

The Union Minister also called for efforts to draw up plans for human resources development, promote the officials and staff, and to carry out the tasks according to the ‘Plan, Do, Check and Action’ motto.
