Order No. 29/2023: SAC Chairman grants amnesty to foreign prisoners

The State Administration Council issued the Order No. 29/2023 on the 17th of April.

The Order states that Chairman of the State Administration Council granted amnesty and deportation to 98 foreign prisoners as a gesture for the auspicious Myanmar New Year period, and in the concept of humanitarian ground according to the Section 401, Sub-Section (1) of the Criminal Code of Law. The Order was signed by Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe.
