Orthodox Christians in Bosnia prepare for Easter

Orthodox Christians in Bosnia are preparing for Easter next Sunday with fasting, prayers and the attendance of liturgies.Hundreds gathered at the church of the Zitomislici monastery in southern Bosnia to attend a liturgy and a shared meal marking the end of the 40 days of great lent.

Together, at the church, they will observe the traditions of the Holy Week and paint on Friday hundreds of eggs for Easter.
