Bio-gas Production: Magwe CM oversees the process in Than Bo Ywathit Village

Magwe Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin inspected the using of bio-gas in Than Bo Ywathit Village of Shar Zaung Kan Village-tract on 11th April.

The project of extracting bio-gas was being implemented with the use of 3 million kyats from the Regional Development Fund. The Pro-Rector of the Technological University (Magwe) explained the processes of extracting the bio-gas. The Chief Minister said using bio-gas could help reduce the usage of firewoods that led to the decline of deforestation.

He urged all to carry out the project widely with one model in each township, and pledged to provide assistance. The Chief Minister and party later viewed the extracting process of bio-gas and the use of bio-gas in cooking purpose.
