Preparations for Opening Ceremony: Mayor took part in the rehearsal at the Thingyan Pandal

Preparations are in full swing for celebrating Thingyan Water Festival. In Nay Pyi Taw, the Mayor Pandal carried out the rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the festival on Wednesday.

Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing Thingyan Festival Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin took part in the rehearsal event, together with the Thingyan Dance Troupes from the ministries. He also oversaw the preparation measures and attended to the needs. The opening ceremony of Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Maha Thingyan Pandal is scheduled to be open in the morning of 13th April, on the Thingyan Eve Day.
