Regional development: Sagaing Region CM inspected development works

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, accompanied by Chairman of the Leading Body of Naga Self-Administered Zone U Htun Htun Win, Region level departmental officials, leading body Secretary and members attended the meeting with Done Hee and Nan Yoon Township level departmental officials, Township elders and members of Naga traditional literature and cultural committee held at the meeting hall of Done Hee Township Administration Council, the Naga Self Administered Zone, , in the afternoon on April 9th.

Firstly, Chairman of Nan Yoon Township Administration Council of Naga Self-Administered Zone U Arkar Oo clarified the development activities of the townships with Power Point. Next, Region Chief Minister said that the State and Region Government are carrying out for the peace, stability and law and order of the region, socio-economic development of the people in Naga Region and urged all to implement the regional development than previous conditions. Later, Chairman of Nan Yoon Township Naga traditional literature and cultural Committee, U Thein Chan Aung reported and discussed the requirements on regional development.

Furthermore, Chairman of Naga self-administered Zone Administration Council and regional level departmental officials clarified the work conditions which are carrying out. After that, Region Chief Minister provided 10 million Kyats of cash assistance for the construction of Naga Traditional Literature and Cultural Committee building, 1 million of cash assistance for the staffs of Donhee and Nan Yoon Townships respectively and was accepted by relevant official.

And then, Chairman of Leading Body and regional education officer provided seeds and seedlings of vegetable, coffee and tea to farmers and the ceremony was concluded with conclusion remarks by Chief Minister. After that, Chief Minister and officials viewed around the cultivation of a 3-acres orchard of butter, mango and damson cultivated by local farmer U Aung Than in Htan Yone Ward, Done Hee Township.

Then, on the morning of April 10th, the chief minister and responsible officials visited the Nan Khamar River crossing temporary bridge on the Khanti-Phar Lamone-Tar Ma Khan-Nyaungpin road in Khanti District, and instructed about the work conditions to be carried out to the officials. And then, Chief Minister and party inspected completion of constructing 3 box culverts and 10 box culverts with a length of 24 feet and a width of 5 feet, which has been constructed with Regional fund and coordinated the needs and fulfilled the requirement.
