Passion of Christ reenacted in Chile

Hundreds of Catholic faithful took part in a Way of the Cross reenactment in Chile on Good Friday.All over the world, believers attend mock crucifixions and passion plays to mark the day Jesus Christ was crucified.

In Colina, they participated in the traditional representation of the Passion and Death of Christ.The procession was headed by the capital's auxiliary bishop, Alberto Lorenzelli Rossi, and Father Jorge Osorio of the Esmeralda parish.Actors were chosen from the hundreds of volunteers who expressed a wish to to take part in the traditional Easter event.
