

Britons heading off for the Easter bank holiday weekend on Friday faced delays and travel disruption on trains and ferries. At the Port of Dover delays were around 60 to 90 minutes, compared to around 14 hours last weekend.
Passenger said “The concourse was just really overcrowded and completely full of people, and I personally found it just too much. So I came away. But I feel for everybody. There were people just pushing through, trying to get to platform four the train was going on. Platform three was obviously stationary but full. It was just very, very difficult for everybody."
