Tiger cubs emerge from den at UK zoo

Two rare Sumatran tiger cubs at a UK zoo have been seen for the first time outside of their den.

The two tigers, born in January at northwest England's Chester Zoo, were captured by conservationists on camera exploring the outside world.

The two cubs were female and named them Alif and Raya (after Mount Raya in Sumatra). Chester Zoo is part of an international programme aimed at conserving the rare species, where in Indonesia only 350 remain in the wild.
