Coordination meeting: Meeting with teachers and faculty members held

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe held a coordination meeting with the rectors from the Universities, Principals from the Educational Degree Colleges and education head officers from the regions and states at meeting hall of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 4th April via Video Conferencing System.

In his address at the meeting, the Union Minister said the arrangements are being made to hold the education conference (2023) with 7 topics under the cooperation of educational related ministries, the 7 topics of the conference were planned at the meeting with permanent secretaries from related ministries and the rectors held on 29th March, as it’s a task for the better education in the future, the teachers from the Ministry of Education and the Universities from the related ministries, education degree colleges and basic education schools as well as the retired experts are needed to invite to achieve the goal with collective efforts, it’s required to supervise for the good look of the Universities and schools.

In coming May, the professors and associate professors from the universities need to attend the central level new curriculum training course for Grade-12 and Grade-9 and the multiplier course will be conducted for the high school teachers from the designated districts and townships as per the university. Next, the deputy minister Dr. Zaw Myint clarified the work process to be done and the draft topics for the education conference.

Deputy minister Dr. Moe Zaw Tun discussed to address for the good look of the schools and to carry out not only for the development of school education but also for the physical education. The permanent secretary Dr. Soe Win discussed as every examination is the important secret issue, the teachers need to address the tasks relating to the examination.
