Stoltenberg: Finland to join NATO on Tuesday

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated on Monday Finland will become the 31st member of the military alliance on Tuesday.

Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary-General said "Tomorrow, we will welcome Finland as the 31st member of NATO making Finland safer and our alliance stronger. We will raise the Finnish flag for the first time here at the NATO headquarters. It will be a good day for Finland security, for Nordic security and for NATO's as a whole."

Stoltenberg said he hopes that Sweden will be able to join the alliance soon.
