Religious Ceremony: Robes and cash donated to 100 nuns

As the pre-Maha Thingyan (Myanmar New Year) donation, Yadana Bon University (Mandalay) helditsvery first time donation ceremony on the 31st of March.

Rector, Dr. Tint Moe Thuzar, Yadana Bon University said "We all together tutors, lecturers and students of our university organized this donation ceremony. Every Buddhism across the country makes donation like this to become a good Buddhism. So, we’ve now made good deeds by trusting in the Buddha Sasana."

At the ceremony, rector, pro-rectors and other related education families donated robes, cash and soap to the nuns.

Nun, Thanda Sa Ri, Myawaddy Nunnery School said "I’m very pleased for their invitation and donation. I wish them good health and wealth and to be able to donate more year by year. "

Day meal was also offered to members of the Sangha and 100 nuns from the Myawaddy Nunnery School in Pyi Gyi Takhon Township. The donation ceremony was held with the aim of flourishing of Buddha Sasana.
