Myanmar / Sri Lanka: Union Minister for Foreign Affairs receives Ambassador

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mr. J. M. Janaka Priyantha Bandara on Thursday.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the friendly bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas including education, health and IT sectors between the two countries, as well as closer collaboration in regional and multilateral contexts such as the BIMSTEC and the United Nations.
