Meeting for NPT Walking Thingyan: Organizing Committee and sub-committees discuss plans

The Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan Organizing Committee and sub-committees held a coordination meeting on Thursday at the Ministry of Information.

In this meeting, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn stressed plans to hold the Walking Thingyan in a grand manner and to make it a high-level one like the ones held in Yangon and Mandalay.

Calling for cooperation, the Union Minister added that the upcoming Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan will include Thanakha Thingyan, Thingyan for ethnic people and youth Game Thingyan.

And, Vice Chairman of the Committee, Secretary of the Committee and an official from the Brilliant Aura Co., Ltd. made discussions on cooperation and preparations for the Walking Thingyan.

Also, a series of matters including situation of placement of ministerial pandals, security, water and electricity access and healthcare were discussed.
