Preparations for Thingyan: Pandals, Walking Thingyan, Charity Feast in Myitkyina

Kachin State Government has been making preparations for the upcoming Thingyan Water Festival.

At the Central Thingyan Pandal on the Sunprabon Road in Myitkyina Township, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan made discussions with concerned officials and businessmen for construction of businessmen-related pandals.

There, the Chief Minister stressed importance of Thingyan celebration in line with the traditions and customs, security and timely completion of construction of pandals.

And, the concerned officials and businessmen made discussions on construction of the Central Thingyan Pandal, Walking Thingyan and charity feast site along the Sunprabon Road as well as construction of businessmen-related pandals on the Sama Road.

And, the Chief Minister coordinated the preparations for the upcoming Thingyan Water Festival from the 13th to the 16th of April.
