Science and Technology: MOST Union Minister met the faculties of the Universities

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw met with the Rectors and Pro-rectors from the Technological Universities and the Universities of Computer studies on Thursday at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

At the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that the sustainable development of the universities plays a crucial role for the emergence of the qualified citizens to participate in implementing the development processes of the nation. So, the Ministry must hear the reports from the officials of the respective sectors and provide sufficient instructions.

In his remarks, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Zeya urged to use Information and Communications Technology (ICT) widely at the universities and to install the required infrastructure systematically. Next, the attendees reported on the implementation tasks by the respective departments, and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions.
