Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and timber confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 27thand 28thof March, an unregistered motorbike and illegal goods as well as timber worth over 121 million Kyats were confiscated in Shwebo Township, at the Hteedan Port Container Checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port Container Checkpoint and at the Oriental Gate Checkpoint as well as in Minhla Township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
