Marking the 78th Anniversary: Awards to prize winning parade companies

Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General MaungMaung Aye presented awards to the prize winning parade companies at the 78th Armed Forces Day Parade at the Thittat Parade Ground in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

At the ceremony, Quartermaster-General Lt-Gen Kyaw Swa Lin presented honorary trophies and cash awards to the relevant parade companies which secured the best awards in flag bearer and military band events. Also, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo presented honorary trophies and cash awards to relevant parade companies which secured the first, second and third prizes in parade, military songs, and military disciplined events.

And, General Maung Maung Aye presented honorary trophies and cash awards to the companies representing the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Air), to the company representing the Directorate of Military Engineers and to the company representing the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy). And, Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General MaungMaung Aye spoke words of honour and the ceremony came to an end.
