Science & Technology: Union Minister inspects Technological University

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw on Friday visited the Technological University (Yamethin) and viewed students from undergraduate courses taking exams. There, he instructed concerned officials to manage the successful conduct of the examination in accordance with the rules and to fulfill the needs for students.

And, the Union Minister met with faculty members of the University, heard report and stressed teaching through the effective use of information and communication technologies. He also called for high quality research and management activities, and efforts to turn out engineers and researchers who will be able to effectively participate in the benefit of human society, humans and the natural environment.

The Union Minister also inspected departments of Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering as well as laboratories and library and gave necessary instructions. Also, he inspected construction sites in the compound of the University.
