51st Anniversary: Department of Printing and Publishing holds celebration

Department of Printing and Publishing under the Ministry of Information celebrated its 51st Anniversary on Thursday. Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and many other officials as well as outstanding staff attended the celebration at the News and Periodicals Enterprise in Nay Pyi Taw.

This event began with screening a video clip about 51 years of operation by the Department of Printing and Publishing. And, in his address, the Union Minister stressed that good civil servants have to serve the public. The officials and staff of the Department of Printing and Publishing are supporting the Ministry's operations.

And, the Union Minister provided uniforms worth 8.9 million Kyats for the officials and staff of the Department. He also presented certificates of honour and cash awards to 2 staff who showed outstanding performance at the Civil Service Academy (upper Myanmar).

Also, certificates of honour and cash awards were presented to another 7 staff. This celebration also included a lucky draw programme and lunch serving.
