Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 10th, 12th and 13thof March, illegal goods including imported Zinc wires, dashboard covers, teak and elevators worth over 302 million Kyats were confiscated in Yangon andat the Naungmon combined checkpoint as well as in Bago, Phyu, Kyauktaga and Lepadan townshipsand at the Myanmar Industrial Port container checkpoint. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
