7th ASEAN Inline Freestyle Championships: Myanmar Skaters won 2 silver medals at the event in Singapore

Athletes from the Myanmar Skating Sports Federation have won two silver medals in the 7th ASEAN Inline Freestyle Championships held in Singapore from 8th to 15th March.

Myanmar athletes competed in Junior Battle Slide U-15 Women’s and Junior Battle Slide U-17 Men’s competitions. A total of 30 players each competed in the Qualifiers.In the final stage of the Junior Battle Slide U-15 Women’s competition, the Indonesian player won first place, Myanmar player Ma PyaePyaePhyo (alias) HmweHmwe won the second, and the Thai player won the third.

In the Junior Battle Slide U-17 Men’s competition, an Indonesian player won first place and another Indonesian player got the third prize while Myanmar’s MaungZwePyaeTun got the second prize. Consist of the Myanmar Skating Sports Federation,ASEAN countries, players from India, China (Taipei), South Korea and Japan also competed in the competition, it is learnt.
