Small Scale Industries: Exhibition, competition, trade fair to be held in NPT

The Small Scale Industries Department has been working for rural development, creating job opportunities, conducting vocational training and helping the Small Scale Industries entrepreneurs to register their enterprises systematically. The Department has now been making preparations to hold the Small Industries Products and Packaging Machinery Exhibition and Competition and Trade Fair in Nay Pyi Taw. Its aim is to call for good packing and good quality products.

Director, Small Scale Industries Department, Yee Yee Hlaing, said " The aims of our Department are to encourage the small industries enterprises, make a market for their products, create direct connection between the innovative companies and MSMEs, manufacture good quality products, give information and new technologies to the MSMEs and create manageable businesses that use local raw materials. The upcoming event in Nay Pyi Taw will have 66 booths – 17 booths for Small Scale Industries Machinery from regions and states and the rest regards with products including foods, consumer goods, lacquerware, traditional textile and weaving products."

The upcoming Small Industries Products and Packaging Machinery Exhibition and Competition and Trade Fair will be held at the Tabaung Ground in front of the Uppatasanti Pagoda from the 17thto the 19th of March in 2023.
