Fourth day of matriculation Exam: MoE Union Minister inspects exam centers in Meiktila

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe together with responsible officials observed the students sitting for the fourth day of 2023 matriculation examination at the Basic Education High Schools in Meiktila Township on Monday.

The Union Minister also visited Meiktila University and viewed the students taking the examination for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. Then, the Union Minister inspected the construction of 3-storey building of University Research Center and gave necessary instructions.

A total of 6,190 students sat for the exam at the Meikitla University. Afterwards, the Union Minister observed the students sitting the exam of 2022-2023 academic year, first year of first semester and second semester, and second year of first semester. The Union Minister also gave lunch donation for 75 teachers and 678 trainees there.

Then, the Union Minister inspected construction of 3-storey teaching building and instructed the needs. As the national level, a total of 135,592 students registered to take the exam for fourth day at 858 local exam centers throughout the nation and 5 foreign exam centers, totally 863 exam centers. Among them, 122,568 students took the Chemistry subject exam, accounting for 90.39 percent.
