Rural Development: Development works in Sittwe inspected

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe met with members and officials from Thazin Livestock Breeding and General Cooperative Association of Nga Tauk Tat Village, Sittwe Township on 10th March.

He instructed to carry out the cattle breeding tasks with cooperative system and cattle farming with cage system, to use cattle manure as natural fertilizers and to cultivate evergreen pasture grass for cattle.

Later, responsible officials from the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and Cooperative Department reported on the requirements on purchase of local breeds, providing treatments, construction of cattle farm and conducting livestock breeding training courses.

The Director General also supplemented the necessaries. Similarly, the Deputy Minister and party visited to Kyan Taw Village of Sittwe Township and fulfilled the requirements on 137 cattle breeding tasks from Kha Yay livestock breeding and general cooperative association.

After that, the deputy minister visited to Shwe Kyar weaving workshop at Kyar Ma Thauk Village of Sittwe township and inspected the weaving processes and encouraged them.

Later on that day, deputy ministers and party visited to Kyauk Tan Gyi Village and instructed to carry out for the increased yield for 105-acres of monsoon paddy cultivation through cooperative system of Myat Noe Pan Agriculture and General cooperatives association and coordinated the necessaries.

Later, the deputy ministers and party met with the departmental staffs from Department of Rural Road development in Sittwe and gave necessary instructions.
