Pa-O Self-Administered Zone: SAC Chairman instructed for the regional development

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by the wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, members of entourage, Shan State Chief Minister, Commander of East Command and officials visited Kyauktalonegyi Town of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in the morning on Tuesday and instructed necessaries for the regional development.

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister and party arrived at the Kyauktalonegyi Town were warmly welcome by U KhunMyintAung, KhunAung Kham, U Khun Ne Win Tun from Pa-O National Organization (PNO) and local residents of Pa-O national races.

Next, SAC Chairman Prime Minister and party visited the house of Pa-O national leader patron of PNO U Aung Kham Hti, inquired the status of health condition and gave words of encouragement. Then, the responsible persons reported the undertakings for the development, peace and stability of the region and requirements.

In responding to the reports, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister instructed to prioritize the industries which will be benefited for the people and the region, it’s needed to carry out the agriculture, livestock breed and industrial enterprises for the socio-economic development of the local people with large scale and constant production.

It’s required to avoid extracting natural resources easily and to choose the industries for long term productivity. In the Pa-O region, if the agriculture and livestock are carried out in cooperative system, it can be achieved. The government and Tatmadaw have been providing assistances for the development of Pa-O region and the assistance will be continued. Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister presented foodstuff and memorable gifts to the Pa-O national leader patron of PNO U Aung Kham Hti and the latter reciprocated with the local produced gifts and Dhamma gifts.

Then, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and party paid homage Mahavamsa Buddhagaya pagoda erected on the Bo Panta Hill in Kyauktalone Town and offered flowers, water and candle light to the pagoda. Next, the chairman of pagoda board of trustee U Khun Nyunt Maung and members presented Dhamma gifts to the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and the latter offered cash donation for the all-round renovation works of the pagoda.

Then, the SAC Chairman and party paid homage to the Buddha image resided at the upper terrace, paid obeisant to the pagoda in clockwise direction and instructed necessaries for the maintaining works of the pagoda to be long sustainability and admirable look.
