Saudi Arabia to host the Club World Cup this year for the first time, says Infantino

FIFA President Gianno Infantino said Saudi Arabia will host the Club World Cup in December at the end of this year for the first time.

Gianno Infantino, FIFA President said "The FIFA Council decided, as well, that Saudi Arabia will host the next edition of the FIFA Club World Cup in December of this year, still with the old format, from 12–22 December. And, as well, the Council decided that the Canada, Mexico and United States men's national teams are qualified for the next World Cup, which will take place in these three countries. So, congratulations, they can celebrate as of today, because they are officially part – the first three teams – to have qualified for the 2026 Men's World Cup."

Infantino revealed that the FIFA Club World Cup tournament is set to extend to 32 teams in 2025.
