Southern Nevada gets snow, snarling traffic

A winter storm moving across southern Nevada Wednesday caused traffic problems and brought snow to the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin.

The several highways, including Interstate 15 - the main route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas - were closed at times due to heavy snow. The National Weather Service said snow was expected in elevations above 3,000 feet including the community of Summerlin.
