Sports Sector: Union Minister encourages athletes for 32nd SEA Games

Union Minster for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan watched and encouraged the final skills assessment of Judo athletes training in Nay Pyi Taw to compete in the 32nd SEA Games. 14 men Judo athletes and 14 women Judo athletes in 4 groups participated in this assessment.

The Union Minister also inspected training of Chinlone (Cane Ball), Volleyball and Vovinam athletes who are undergoing camp training to compete in the 32nd SEA Games.

And, he urged the coaches, managers and athletes to try hard to promote the prestige of the country, to take care of health and to cooperate for success in the 32nd SEA Games. There, the Union Minister also provided cash assistance to a Vovinam athlete who needs medical treatment. The 32nd SEA Games to be hosted by Cambodia is set take place from the 5th to the 17th of May 2023.
