Football Tournament: VSG enjoys final match and presents awards

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win on Tuesday afternoon enjoyed the final match of inter-university/degree college men football tournament for the academic year of 2022-2023.

The final match of the Yangon Zone Team and the Pathein Zone Team at the WunnaTheikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw came to an end with a 3-3 draw till the extra time. And, in the penalty shootout, the Yangon Zone Team won the Pathein Zone Team with 4-3.

And, the union ministers and members of the State Administration Council presented awards including the Best Goalkeeper, Defence Player, Midfield Player, Striker and Best Player awards and cash awards. Also, the Mawlamyaing Zone was presented with the 3rd award, the Pathein Zone Team with the 2nd award and the Yangon Zone Team with the 1st award. And, the Vice Senior General presented the trophy and cash award to the Yangon Zone Team.
