Australian-designed military drone unveiled at show

An Australian designed drone was unveiled at the Australian International Airshow near Melbourne on Tuesday. The uncrewed armed drone that could carry a payload of up to 100 kilograms was developed by BAE Systems Australia.

It was designed to fit in a shipping container and could be in local production in the next three years, local media reported.Australia Chief executive Ben Hudson told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation at the airshow in Avalon that the drone has the benefits of both a helicopter and conventional aircraft.
