Emergency's ship 'Life Support' docked Saturday at the port of Civitavecchia, about 90 km from Rome, to disembark the 156 migrants, including two women, three children aged between 7 and 10, and 28 unaccompanied minors, rescued during two operations.

During the first operation 46 migrants, all men from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sudan, Eritrea and Egypt, including three minors, were rescued in the early morning of 16 February while sailing on a small wooden boat in distress in international waters. Life Support was carrying out search and rescue activities outside Libyan territorial waters, after having informed both the Italian and Libyan authorities and without having received any coordination.
