Inspection of Rice Mill: Shan State CM inspected Tawwin Mai Yaung Rice Mill

With the aims at developing from MSMES to Heavy Industry and the creation of job opportunities in the region, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, Commander of Triangle Region Command Ma-J Ni Lin Aung and state level officials inspected the operation of Tawwin Mai Yaung Rice Mill of Mai Yaung Township Cooperatives Limited in the evening on 18th February.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials also viewed the oil crop sunflower plantation owned by U Sai Thiha in Wan Boe Village and provided sunflower seeds and fertilizers to the farmers.

Then, the Chief Minister, Commander and officials met with the district and township level officials, township elders and local residents at the Bala Min Htin Hall of Mai Yaung Township. The chairman of district administration council reported the facts about the region, local residents and towns elders submitted the regional requirements and the chief minister pledged to coordinate for the regional development and made a speech of conclusion.

Next, the chief minister provided cash assistance for the district and township public service personnel and the district and township chairmen accepted.

Afterward, the chief minister and officials paid homage to the sitting Buddha image in Ho Khon  monastery in Mai Yaung Township, presiding Sayadaws of Ho Khon monastery and Tat-Oo  monastery and offered the offertories and cash donation.

In the morning on 19th February, the Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and Commander Ma-J Ni Lin Aung and state level officials visited Mai Yaung people’s hospital, provided nutritious foodstuff to the patients receiving treatment at the hospital and presented cash assistance for the all-round development of the hospital and the hospital superintendant accepted, it’s reported.
