Dog lovers party with their pets in Rio

Dog lovers gathered with their costumed pets to parade and compete in a costume competition in Rio de Janeiro Saturday, celebrating 2023 Carnival. Some dog owners even matched their costumes to the ones worn by their furry friends.

Owners showcased their dog’s costume during the competition, from snow white, “super dog” to sushi and Rio’s traditional “mate” drink.The parade has become a tradition of the carnival in Rio de Janeiro and prides itself in being the most democratic and inclusive party in the world.
