Myanmar / China: Meeting on promotion of trade and economic cooperation

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung NaingOo received a Chinese delegation led by Mr. Li Chenyang, Director General of the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province.

This meeting on Tuesday at the Ministry in Nay PyiTaw focused on promotion of trade and economic cooperation between Myanmar and China’s Yunnan Province, acceleration of the export of Myanmar agricultural products to China, trade-related payments cooperation and cross-border trade issues. The delegation also held talks with Director General of the Department of Trade of Myanmar on bilateral border trade promotion issues.
