Spanish unit assists in Chile wildfires

Spain's Military Emergencies Unit on Sunday continued assisting to help battle a blaze in Chile's southern region of Biobío. The unit is part of the international help in Chile to help control dozens of raging wildfires that have killed at least two dozen people.

Emergency declarations had already been issued in areas in the central-southern regions. The measure allows for greater cooperation with the military.
