Biden welcomes Brazil's president to WH

President Joe Biden welcomed Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the White House on Friday. The two leaders' talks come just over a month after Lula’s swearing-in.

The leaders are expected to discuss efforts to safeguard democracy, Russia-Ukraine conflicts, and insecurity in Haiti, migration and climate change, including efforts to stem deforestation of the Amazon, according to a senior Biden administration official who briefed reporters about the meeting on the condition of anonymity.
