Religious Ceremony: A ceremony to enshrine the repository at the Yadana Throne

A ceremony to enshrine the religious repository at the pillar of Yadana Throne was held in the compound of Buddha Park in Dekhina Thiri Township of Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

The Sayadaws and members of the Sangha led by Ovada Cariya Sayadaw for construction of Mara Vijaya Buddha Image Patron of Mingala Zayyon Monastery of Pali University in Pyimana Bhadanda Vimala Buddhi graced the ceremony, which was attended by Leading donor, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and well-wishers.

After paying respect to the Sayadaw and members of the Sangha, the Prime Minister deposited the donated items including the planetary data upon Buddha’s birth, precious gold, silver, gem stones, rubies and silver coins into the golden caskets according to the religious procedures.

The ceremony then commenced by reciting Namosatta three times, followed by recitation of religious Gadas. The Prime Minister and well-wishers then listened to the sermons delivered by the Sayadaws. At the auspicious time, the Pali Sayadaw and the Prime Minister deposited the golden caskets into the designated repository of the Yadana Throne according to the religious rituals.

After reciting the victory Gadas, the merits gained have been shared. The ceremony successfully concluded by reciting Buddha Sasanan Ciran Titahtu  three times.
