Growing Sakura Flower Plants: MoEA Union Minister attended the event

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint held a talk with the officials from Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association at the meeting hall of the Union National Races Village (Yangon) in Thaketa Township of Yangon Region in the morning on January 25.

First, U Shwe Thwe from Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association clarified regarding the courtesy call paid by the delegation of JMFA to the MoEA Union Minister and holding plantation of Sakura flowers and then Mr. Hatano Hiroshi took part in the discussion.Next, the Union Minister said the good relation between Myanmar and Japan need to accelerate, the ethnic regions in the country are underdeveloped and the ministry is putting effort to create the job opportunity for the youth of national races.

Peace is paramount important for any country. The national unity will bring the prevailing of peace which facilitates the development of the country. If the national races of the country make endeavor for the national interest without political and personal fanaticism, the country will develop.

The friendship between Japan and Myanmar can be dubbed as loving-kindness. By growing Sakura flower plants with loving-kindness, the loves will expand.Next, the Union Minister, Kayin State, Taninthayi Region and Yangon Region ministers for ethnic affairs, senior officials and representatives of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association grew the Sakura flower plants near the Nan Myint Tower and posed for documentary group photo.

Then, the union minister, regions and states ministers for ethnic affairs, officials and guests enjoyed the traditional songs and dances of national races in the hall of the national races village, presented cash of honor to the cultural dance groups and posed for documentary photo.Afterward, the union minister and party inspected the status of constructing wharf and repairing Pontoon in the national races village and instructed the officials concerned to complete the construction works within a schedule time, it’s learnt.
