Agricultural sector: MoALI Dy Minister inspected Agricultural Institute

The deputy minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi and officials inspected the State Agricultural Institute (Patheingyi) in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region on January 21 and the director of the agricultural institute (branch) and principal clarified the status of theoretical and practical teaching of the institute.

In responding to the clarifications, the deputy ministry instructed necessaries.

Next, the deputy minister provided aids and foods for the teachers and students and inspected the breeding farms facilitated to the practical teaching of the institute.

Then, the deputy minister and party visited Mandalay Coffee Group Com., Ltd in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region and inspected the status of coffee productions.

In the evening, the deputy minister and officials visited Doe Kwin Gardening farm and the in-charge of the farm clarified the work implementations.

Upon the clarification, the deputy inister instructed to produce the high quality and high yielding vegetable seeds, educating those who want to grow the vegetables and orchids to innovate and utilize the modern agricultural plantation methods and conducting research and development works.

Then, the in-charge of the farm was provided with the foodstuff and viewed the plantations in the gardening farm.

Doe Kwin Gardening farm is carrying out the collecting of orchid species, producing high quality and padigree seeds of vegetables, conducting research for the flower species suitable for the region as a farm facilitating the Pyin Oo Lwin Flower City, it’s learnt.
