Cultural Exchange Program: MOEA Union Minister receives Chiang Mai Dy. Gov

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint visited Thailand under the Ethnic Cultural Exchange Program with the support of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (2020). 

The program is going to be held from 18th to 24th January aiming to exchange culture and customs of ethnic people among the countries in Mekong-Lancang region, to study and share ethnic policy and rights, to establish a network to communicate among the ethnic people in Mekong region and to promote mutual understanding among the Mekong region countries.

On Saturday, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Mr. Wiraphong Rhitrot and party paid a call to the Union Minister at Chiang Mai International Airport Lounge. They discussed for promoting the existing friendly relations, further cooperation for socio-economic development of ethnic people in both countries, to exchange cultural relations and vocation education between the two countries.
