Visiting in Thandwe: Thai delegation pays homage to prominent pagodas

A Thai delegation led by wife of the Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Madame Budsakorn Srisawasdi who are currently in Myanmar together with Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the SAC Chairman the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wives of Tatmaw senior officers paid homage to prominent pagodas in Thadwe, Rakhine State on Friday.

First, wife of the Chief of Thai Defence Forces and party together with the wives of senior military officers visited Shwe Andaw pagoda and offered lights, flowers, water and fruits to the pagoda. They then donated cash for the pagoda to the Pagoda Board of Trustees.

And then, they paid homage to Shwe Nandaw Pagoda. In the afternoon, the wife of the Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and party together with Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the SAC Chairman the Commander-in-Chief together with military senior officers visited Amazing Ngapali Resort and viewed Rakhine traditional weaving and traditional handicrafts.

They then enjoyed rakhine traditional songs and dances entertained by the Amazing Ngapali Resort. Later, they presented cash for the traditional dance troupe.
