Environmental Management: Call for cooperative works in meeting Zero Waste Target

Work Committee on Industrial, Urban and Rural Environmental Management held its coordination meeting on Friday.

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Min Thu in his capacity as the Committee Chairman gave a speech, saying that the committee was formed to implement the international agreements on climate change, environmental awareness, pollution control and waste management.

He urged all to cooperate in implementing the National Waste Management Strategy and Master Plan to meet the target of reaching Zero Waste by 2030.
