MSME Development: A workshop on economic development of MSMEs

A workshop on economic development of MSME enterprises in Myanmar was held at the Ministry of Industry on Friday.

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said that this workshop is held based on the economic development MSME enterprises as a pilot program to conduct trainings that can effectively benefit for the work place. Based on the economic development of MSME enterprises in Myanmar, the officials will lead a discussion based on applying the basic facts for MSME enterprises which has been shown as a guideline for the success of the businesses.

The officers attending the event also need to discuss with each other, based on the discussion and the participants will have to answer the assessments to examine how they understand the content of the discussion. The Union Minister added that trainings, workshops and seminars will continue holding for the capacity enhancement of the staffs.

Officials discussed the reasons for achieving small and medium enterprises, MSME market and condition, drafting plan and management for a MSME enterprise, the ways to implement in drafting detailed work plan and a guideline for achieving economic enterprises from financial point of view. The participants asked about the facts that they would like to know in the respective topics.
