Religious Donations: SAC Chairman makes donations in Lahe Township

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Monday visited the Theravada Buddhist Missionary [Central] Monastery in Lahe Township of Naga Self-administered Zone.

There, the Senior General paid respects to the presiding Sayadaw and members of the Sangha and donated cash, rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs. He also provided 5 million Kyats for teachers at the Theravada Buddhist Missionary [Central] Monastic School.

Also, the Senior General toured the compound of the Monastery and coordinated with concerned officials for the sustainability and strengthening of the Monastery.

On the same day, he visited the Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery, paid respects to the nuns and donated cash, rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs. And, the Senior General toured the Nunnery, made provision and coordinated with concerned officials for maintenance of the Nunnery.
