Heavy snowfall in Iran brings joy and disruption

Cold weather and a rare snowfall on Sunday forced the closure of schools as well as government offices and private businesses in parts of Iran.

Some families in Tehran used the opportunity to play in the snow and enjoy the scenes of the snow-covered city.State media reported temporary gas outage in parts of eastern Iran on Saturday, as heavy snow gripped the country. President EbrahimRaisi visited the country's state gas company on Sunday to investigate the issue.
