“Providing Justice By All”: Judicial Strategic Plan and Year One Action Plan published

The Supreme Court of the Union published the Judicial Strategic Plan (2023-2027), which has been set up and implemented with the motto “Providing Justice By All” and Year One Action Plan (2023).

As a judicial reform process, commencing from 2015, the Judicial Strategic Plan was drawn and implemented accordingly. The second Judicial Strategic Plan for five-year (2018-2022) has been set up in 2018 and implemented the strategic initiatives until 2022.

The Judicial Strategic Plan (2023-2027), currently issued by the Myanmar Judiciary becomes the third one and it is an entire effort, without any assistance of international partners, from frequent consultations and discussions between the strategic planning team of the Supreme Court of the Union and responsible officials of the High Court of the Region and the State.

In addition, as its initial year, the Year One Action Plan (2023) and evaluation on previous five-year strategic plan is accompanied with this new Strategic Plan. The Judicial Strategic Plan (2023-2027) and the Year One Action Plan of the Judicial Strategic Plan is available on the website of the Supreme Court of the Union www.unionsupremecourt.gov.mm.
